Between August and September three of our coaches moved to the mountains. Coaches Roy, ‘Makopano (Copper) and Thato have spent the last few weeks delivering the Lesotho Rugby Academy programme to 14 schools in Thaba Tseka, including several schools that are part of our parent charity (Dolen Cymru) teacher exchange programme.

This July may have been the school holidays for the children in Lesotho, but our coaches found themselves back in the classroom. In partnership with the Lesotho National Olympic Committee, our team spent a week in training on how to use sport to deliver social education.

We had a fantastic turnout, with over 90 guests, including rugby legends Ian ‘Robbo’ Robertson (the voice of rugby), Mark Lambert of Harlequins and Alistair Hargreaves, ex Saracens and Springbok.
