Lesotho Rugby Academy coaches back in the classroom

This July may have been the school holidays for the children in Lesotho, but our coaches found themselves back in the classroom. In partnership with the Lesotho National Olympic Committee, our team spent a week in training on how to use sport to deliver social education.

The Lesotho National Olympic Committee (LNOC) syllabus has been designed with support from OlympAfrica Youth Ambassador Program (OYAP) and closely aligns with the priorities and approach of the Lesotho Rugby Academy, so it was a wonderful opportunity for our coaches to refresh themselves on the key messages around topics such as HIV awareness. The coaches came away armed with new drills and games, which we will be looking to incorporate into our syllabus next year.
